Uganda Bracelet

In school we are making bracelets for our friends in Uganda. The bracelets are hard to make but they are a lot of fun to make. Mine looks really good but when I started it looked like a big friendship knot. I thought that it was horrible at the beginning but now I'm almost done and it turn out really good. My Moose

The Best Hunt

     The best hunt I have ever took was elk hunting.There was two feet of snow it was riley sticky.So me and my dad had a snow ball fight we sent up camp then my dad's friends came. we had a trailer they had a really big taint then we told story's then We woke up at 5 clock. I throe a snow ball at my dad he got mad. We took a hik then we stopped my dad's friend went a different way. So we went farther then we came back we went to get the pick up. We got my dads friend then we came back there was a big hole.My dad said, how can we get ofer, we drove ofer it we got stuck so we toed it I was in the truck stirring it I hit my head on the window it hurt! We got to camp we at the worst food ever hamburger helper. I did not like it so I had a sandwich it was good. the next day I went to my Grandmas house my dad was still at camp. my mom and sisters Where at my grandmas house to.two days later my dad came with a cow elk. Uganda Cards

When me and my class walked in the room we saw a package and it was pretty big. Then my teacher said come to the rug and the after she said then she said I now you are wondering what is inside this package. It is something from our friends in Uganda. And when she opened it. It was cards for all of us. So we all got to open it in the classroom and when I opened it I was so surprised to read the note.

Some day's when we get back from lunch we rite to Uganda. It is a lot of fun but some times it is sad what they rite back. Mrs Shimel class from last year raised enough money to bi Uganda a computer so this year we are able to blog with Uganda. I can not what tell I can give them something. Love Anna

Christmas Party

In Mrs. Schimel's class we had a Christmas party we made Olaf stir sticks and then when the party started we got candy canes and hot chocolate and marshmallows it was awesome I loved that party.

Battle Of The Books T-shirts

Today I am going to talk about my teams Battle of the books teams T-shirts that we made. First my mom got some special paper at the store then we got our own white T - shirts next on the computer my mom printed our team name on the paper. (Super amazing awesome.) Finally we colored our shirts with fabric markers. That is how we made our team T-shirts.

Battle Of The Book

In McKay Creek school we do Oregon Battle Of The Books. My team and I went to the pool play and went against a 5th grade team and won 43 to 27 our secant battle we won again against anther 5th grade to 41 to 11. We where so excited about it! We went to team member Carson's house to make team shirts that say Super! Amazing!! Awesome!!! By Donald Duck

Last Thursday when we walked in the classroom Mrs. Schimel said we got mail from Uganda! We each got are own little card. The fabric on the front was something I have never seen befor. Cheese Ball Toss

Cheese ball toss is awesome! In cheese ball toss you have to have one partner and one partner has to have a hair net and one has to have at least 30 cheese balls and then you put whip cream on the hair net and then try to toss the cheese balls on the hair net about 3 feet away.

My Moms New Baby

My mom had her baby and she named Emmalyn Elizabeth. CShe has strawberry blond hair and gray eyes. She was 9 pounds and 19 inches and 4 ounces and was born in January. She is 7days old She is so cute By Sven

In mrs schimels class their are all sorts of fun pitchers my favorite Is the one that says laugh it is so cool it has a sun on the front. and It has lots of colors.

Fractions

This week we are doing fractions. It is really fun! She uses different colors. The ones we have done on our chart are red, blue, yellow, green and orange. The red fraction is 1-2 the blue one is 1-4, the yellow one is 1-3 the green one is 1-6 and the orange one is 1-8. So know you know all about our fractions for the week. Winnie The Pooh

Chedoball

In third grade since we got a woo hoo black out, we got to do Cheetos How you do it is you get a partner then you put a shower cap on, then mrs. Schimel put cool whip on your head. Then your partner throws Cheetos balls at the cool whip. Who ever gets the most wins. In my group we got seven on my head. So know you know all about Cheetos toss! Winnie the Pooh

We did the ingredients for Hot chocolate then we made Olaf stir sticks for are Hot chocolate .First we wash are hands then we then we got a tissue.Then we got a hershey's kiss then we got three marshmallows we slipped on everything on a skewers.

AR

In McKay Creek school we do this thing called AR. It is this program were you get to read certain books. Then you take a quiz on the book you read. If you get a good score you gat points. If you gat a lot of points you have met a goal and get to pick out a prize. By Donald Duck

Stability Balls

The first day back from winter break we got stability balls. They are just like bouncy balls but they are different. They have our numbers on the bottom so we know who's is who's. When we got them we got to name them. Mine is named fee fee! To protect our balls we had to have rules. They are, no bouncing, protect your ball, keep your ball quiet and keep your ball in your own space. Mrs. Schimel that only third graders can sit on them.they are made just for third grade body's. Olaf Stir Sticks

In ms.Schimel's class we made Olaf stir sticks. We are going to have hot coco! First we got bamboo sticks. They where kind of big don't blame me I don't remember how big they whey where! Then we put big mouth watering eresistablee dilishes morshmellows! Then we just put on Hershey's kiss on it.

Fun Friday

This afternoon we made som home made hot chocolate and some Olaf hot chocolate stirrers and took Christmas pitchers it was FUN!

My Snowman

Number Corner

In Mrs. Schimels class we do number corner. We do it with a scale to see how much stuff weighs like a marker weighs 14 grams. We are trying to get to a 1,000grams at the end of this week so far we have a 156 grams. In my third grade classroom on the left side of the room is mrs Schimel's book shelf. Mrs Schimel bout all of the books on the shelf. Basketball

Soon basketball is going to start and I am so happy. My dad is the coach. My friend is going to be on my team and I think so can one of my other friends. Battle Of The Books

Do you like to read because if you do not you should go back to grade school? After Christmas break in third grade- fifth grade get to do this thing called Battle Of The Books. It is where you read a bunch of books and go up against other teams and a grown up will ask one of the teams a question if the get it wrong they will ask it to the other team. Thanks Giving

On thanks giving I went to bend. I stayed at my grandpas house and it is really big. It was like a palace when I came in. The first thing I had to do was go un pack. Then I went to a very fancy restaurant I had Mac n cheese. It was really good. Then I had to go back to grandpas house and then I went home and went to sleep. When I woke up I went back to that restaurant and had really good biscuit and gray with bacon. After that my friends mom texted my mom and asked if we could go to bouncing off the walls. Thanksgiving

Hi I am reporter Donald Duck and I have one simple little question " did you go some where for Thanksgiving"? Well I did for sure. Me and my family went to the beech in Pacific city with our friends the summerfeilds. They have 6 people they are Bob, Julie, Sierra , Even, Toby and Holden. We got to stay in a rent ell house. It had 4 rooms 2 kings and 2 bunk beds. It a foosball we played it like 3 hundred times. Sometimes me and my dad would go agents Toby and his dad me and my dad won every time. At the beech we saw a hermit crab we also got to go boogie boarding and build sand forts. We got to watch a lot of movies and build a fire. When we were there we watch the Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers it was so cool for us to watch them win in 5 years at San Francisco. So about that question put your answer in the comment box. Thanks Giving At School

In my third grade class last Monday we did a really fun activity. It was ware we made pumpkin pie in a bag. We made teams of six. Then we all got numbers. I was number 4. Then when we were all done we put the pumpkin pie in a bag on to the gram crackers. Then after we were done we put whip cream on the top. It was so good even with out the whip cream.
