Basket and Bingo

Do you know about baskets and bingo night? Basket and bingo night is something that we are doing this week. We collected stuff that is our category for our class. Our category is the OSU . You play bingo and if you win bingo you win a book. Then you'll put tickets in a can for the basket you like. They'll pick a ticket and whoever gets their name pulled out gets the basket. When I was in first grade I won a cooking basket. Does your school do Basket and Bingo?

Our New Table

Our class put together a table. We painted it first then we screwed it together. When we were done the people who did not get to help put the table together got to put on elf pants for the legs. Then we put elf shoes on it. Have you ever done a special priject in class before? 

Bingo And Baskets

Our school is doing something called Bingo and Basket and night. Our class is doing the Beavers !I love the Beavers.It's going to be on Dec 10th!I can not wait it will be so much fun ! Do You like the Beavers or Ducks? Riley

Battle of The Books

Battle of the books is when you have a team of4 people. You pick your team name. Then you read the books there are 16 books in all. You decide how many books each player gets. When you go battle a team you answer questions about the book. You get 2 chances and only 3ed 4th 5th graders only get to compete.

Growth Mindset

Hi my name is Colson and I am going to tell you about growth mindset. A growth mindset is when you say something positive about yourself. A growth mindset isn't something that you say bad about yourself it is something positive. I said I like it when I am corrected because I learn when I am corrected. Spirt Week!!!

I am going to tell you about Spirt Week,so first of all, I'm telling you about the awesome Pumpkin Pie In A Bag that we made. It was made from some things, but it's fine. Their will be other posts that tell how to make it, but it was something that you have a half gram-cracker, with some stuff on it and whipped cream. That was only part one. Next, we had a time when we could play with slime, and it was all green, and copletly goo-looking and goo-feeling. It was fun, but we also could launch rockets which was amazing! We had a parade while we are wearing our costumes.

A Special Reword

This year we won second place in coats for kids! Coats for kids is where we bring coats that don't fit anymore to school and give them away to people that need them. What we won is rice crispy treats for the hole class. Have you ever gotten an award ?

Math Riddles

We are doing something called math riddles. We have 4 math riddles a one is called 6&8 went out on a date. They didn't get back until they were 48. Another one is called 5,6,7,8! 56 is 7X8! 7X6 isn't hard to do! 7X 6 is 42! The last one is 7X7 is cool & fine! 7× 7= 49. My favorite one is 7x6 isn't hard to do 7x6 is 42!

On woo hoo bingo if someone gives us a complement We can pull out a piece of paper that has a letter on it. Then we put it on the same letter on the choices of rewards we can earn.

These are my math riddles. Mrs. Schimel told us that these will help us with multiplication. 6x8 is my favorite one.

The Super Improver Team

As I was thinking what to tipe, I was turning and saw The Super Improver chart. I started to take the picture. I am a specialist. Their are levels that you get for getting enough points (you get points from good behavior). The levels are: rookie, specialist, leader, captain, star, and MVK (most valuable kid) , super star, hall of fame, and last of all, a Living Legend! The goals are correctly writing on whole paper (second goal) and follow directions quickly and quietly (first goal). Sometimes, when you level up, you get to eat lunch in the classroom with some others that leveled up. You get to choose your goal if it is something you need to get better at.
