Painting

We started work on our background for our up coming play.

Here we are making the fence.

LG and KS are working on the moon.

T is one of our second grade neighbors. She got this huge bee's nest and brought it over to let us see it.

We are finishing up our Monster stories and LG and CR are sharing theirs with each other.

I love the look on AW's face here as he listens to CC.

MC watches as GC highlights all the writing skills we have been focusing on.

We are getting very good at starting with a capital letter and ending with a period.

Second graders - what is the other skill we are focusing on? (I am posting questions to make sure they are "reading" the blog. They get a little something if they are the first one to answer me).

We are working on subtraction and sometimes it is nice to have a neighbor share extra fingers when we have a number over 10.
