We (3rd graders) learned division today!
30 divided by 5 = 6
That means if you have 30 cookies and we give 5 neighbors the same amount of cookies, how many cookies do we give each neighbor?
Division math was fun and it felt great to learn a new skill.
We (2nd graders) started learning how to add coins. We used pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters. It was fantastic counting with real money.
Very proud of all of you. Division is a great skill to have.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited 2nd graders are learning about all the types of coins. Dugan has known about quarters for a long time since he LOVES video games at the pizza place!
