Division & Coins

We (3rd graders) learned division today!

30 divided by 5 = 6

That means if you have 30 cookies and we give 5 neighbors the same amount of cookies, how many cookies do we give each neighbor?

Division math was fun and it felt great to learn a new skill.

We (2nd graders) started learning how to add coins. We used pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters. It was fantastic counting with real money.

Question for 3rd graders: how many cookies does Dugan's mom get? :)

I'm excited 2nd graders are learning about all the types of coins. Dugan has known about quarters for a long time since he LOVES video games at the pizza place!
