Matific

For the last couple of months we have been using something on our iPads called matific and on matific there are work sheets and games at this point we are doing all of our worksheets and I finished all of mine so I do not have to do any for a wile. I am on my games because I finished my worksheets. One of my games that are on my matific are spinning tables three. In spinning tables three it gives you a multiplication chart and spins it so three numbers come of and you are sopost to type in the number that is missing. If you get it correct you get a star if you get it incorrect then you don't get a star. There is two kinds of matific one for home and one for school we use the one for school. By Iron man

Book Reports

How would you like to learn about our book reports? A book report is when you read a chapter book, then you go to pic collage and get pictures from your book then get a background. Everyone in the class has an account on  http://www.thinglink.com  that you put on pic collage into thing link. Then you tell about the summary, rating, charters, and favorite part. By Lea and Derek

Shapes In Geometry

This year we have been learning about Shapes in Geometry. Here is an example of an Isosceles triangle, two sides are the same and one is not. Another one is Scalene triangle. All 3 sides are different.There is more then those two and you will learn this in 3rd grade. By Simba

State Report

In 3rd grade you might get to do state reports. It's when you pick a state and you write a paragraph about your state . I have been learning about the state of kentucky . If I could go there I would want to go to the kentucky derby.

Hi Uganda Miss Schimel is good and this week we have been learning about new fun stuff to do at recess . One fun thing that we did is 4 square is Were you get in to 4 little squares and one person serves the ball and if the ball hits the line you are out. May Number Corner

We have been learning from our may calendar with number corner. We play games like May calendar grid. Do you do that? I love it doing number corner. One day we had to guess what the next day was and I was correct. We all got it correct. By Platypus and Scar

Basketball

In our class room we play basketball. First we have to have good transitions in order to score points. Each point is worth one ball. We do not play normal basketball we have a big glass container that we try to get ping pong balls in it. We bounce the ball, toss the ball, and some times we bounce the ball off the promethean board. SBAC

Our class was doing a SBAC test and we really liked it. We liked the SBAC test because we were testing out our skills and when we got questions correct it would give you a even harder question so we knew if we were correct or not. There are more than one SBAC test and there is one SBAC test for each skill. We hope you like it if you do the SBAC.

Book Writer

We have this really cool app that allows you to create your own book. There are some awesome books that our class has made like :The Very Lucky Frog, Antarctic Penguins, and Math Millionaire. The Super amazing awesome writers are Owen, Carson, Tommy, Claire, and Corrina. Owen, Tommy, and Carson are making a number 2 book of The Very Lucky Frog, The witch attack. Are teacher made all of the students a account and you can Change the style.You just go on your account and go to profile and it will say customize and click it and you get to change the back ground and your name is on it.You have to reach a certain level to get to unlock a background for your background screen.You have to reach a certain level to get a fancy picture for your profile.Epic is the awesomeness app ever because you get to read a lot of books like which twins.What are you guys doing in school? State Reports

When you are in third grade you might do a state report. It is where you pick a state and write paragraphs about it. My state is Texas and if I could go there I would go to Seaworld because you can see dolphins and turtles.

Tiny Tap

This year our teacher showed us Tiny tap and it is a really fun game. Tiny tap is a game were you can create your own math game. Anna and I almost finished a game but it was time to clean up and that game is like the most fun game we have ever played. You can also play games that other people created. By Olaf And Anna
