Last week we started writing for our first newspaper. 
Then we went to the computer lab and learned how to use Microsoft Word to do some editing. Our first newspaper will be coming home to you on Tuesday, September 12th.
I am teaching sign language this year. A few years ago I had a non verbal student, so I took some college classes to learn sign. It is a lot of fun being able to communicate with your hands.
We read a book called, The Big Wide Mouthed Frog this week in a reading group. We decided to paint some frogs to help decorate our classroom.
This is our guidance counselor Mrs. T. She will be coming in everyother week to help us learn strategies that will help us throughout our lives.
