This year we are going to make a special birthday magazine, as birthday gifts, for each person in our class. Today I through everyone a "surprise birthday" party, so I could take their pictures and be ready for their special day. Afterwards we ate the cake.

Earlier this week we spent some time brainstorming ideas of what to include in each birthday magazine. I typed up their ideas and then everyone drew out one to write about. This is CC and AB reading the question that they will ask the birthday person.
Our guidance counselor came today and talked with us about making everyone feel like a part to a team.
Our Principal also came in to explain our upcoming read a thon. It will go for two weeks in October. We are hoping to raise $3,500. See details in the yellow flyers coming home Friday.
