Cartooning

Last week NE's grandma was filling in for someone so we asked her to teach us how to draw cartoons. She is the talented artist that paints on all the windows around town.
Our lions turned out pretty cute don't you think?
On Monday we created ML's birthday book. Mrs. Miltenberger brought us our S.T.A.R certificates last week.
Congratulations to the 15 students that turned in their reading charts.
Maybe next month we all can turn in our reading sheets. Want to try? I am only asking each student to read 6 hours during the month of April.
The art show is coming up and I wanted to see if we could draw and paint giraffes.
They were hard but turned out really cute.

The drawings on the blog are great! My daughter really liked the art demonstration. She's using the techniques at home and trying to teach them to her brother. I think it's wonderful when talented adults share with the children.
