Taken Out the Rug

This week we decided to do some spring cleaning.

I wanted to rearrange our room and kept running into the rug.

I asked everyone if they thought it should stay or go and they said, "GO".

So we rolled it up and donated it to our first grade neighbors.

Now we can have our tables close to the board and our room has so much space.

We changed our morning routine too. Now as we enter the classroom each morning, students click on the balloon with their name and it shrinks. This is a fast and fun way to take attendance. We also pulled out a math game that helps us speed up on our math facts. Here GU is playing.

We have a lot of March birthdays. I missed two students when I was taking pictures. Hopefully I can catch them when we make their birthday book. Here is KC.

KC made a book about her cupcake making project. It turned our really neat and she loves it.
