Basket Fundraiser

We are collecting items to go in a "Chocolate Lovers" basket for the basket auction that is coming up. If you can help, that would be great. Instead of an auction format, it will be a raffle format to give every family a chance to win. We will also have a Family Bingo for Books during this event.

Read A Thon

Read A Thon is underway. We are trying to get 100% participation. Thank you in advance for all your support.

Newspaper

Our first newspaper is coming home tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14th.

We started our first big writing assignment with a graphic organizer today.

We created pictures of monsters on crayola.com and now are creating a story about it.

We are learning how to use our expressions in new ways.

Today we practiced our simple addition facts and loved it. Thank you Mr. B for getting us up and going.

Our scarecrow unit is now underway. We got into groups of 5 or 6 and planned who will bring what.

It is hard to work in such a large group but we did great. We will be assembling our scarecrows on Friday. We have plans for a farmer, police officer, baseball player, and a ??? I can't remember the fourth one. Second graders, if you know, come tell me. (I'm checking to see if you are reading this.)
