Last week we took our paper pencil mad minute to compare our speed on our simple math facts.
We have worked hard all year to master these math problems and it payed off for us.
Everyone has doubled or almost doubled their number of problems that they can do in 3 minutes.
We are also authoring our own books. Here KB and MM are writing their stories.
They took pictures with the camera to illustrate their stories. Then they write out the story. Then they get to move the pictures onto the computer and record their voice on each page. When they are all finished, we send the flipchart story to our Pen Pals and friends here at McKay. They are turning out really neat.
