My apologies for not keeping up with this blog. We have so much going on, I hope you are visiting the kids blog to stay up with us. Last week we started our study of Africa. We invited pilot Tim Sweek in to help start our journey. Then we watched a short National Geographic video that shows many of Africas fascinating animals.
I have updated our upcoming events off to the right.
At this time we only have one date that we will not be at school for lunch. Plan on sending a sack lunch on Thursday, June 3rd because we will be meeting our Pen Pals at McKay Park. More information to come.
Volunteers Needed!
I am looking for 3 volunteers for our Field Day. It is on May 25th from 8:00 to 11:00.
Field Day is when we have all kindergarten through third grade students participate in all kinds of fun events together on the playground. Students are placed on teams and they rotate through each event. Some of the events are: scooters, the limbo, tug o' war, parachute, 3 legged race...
