Art With Annie Heron

Parents,

We are in DESPERATE NEED of headphones. Some of us have none and some of us are on our last set. I need everyone to send one more set please. We use them all the time with the computers and our itouches.

Now onto the fun we had last week.

This week we made clay tiles with Annie Heron, our Artist in Residents.
It is going to be Public Art. That means it is going to stay in the school forever!
We put all kinds of animals on our tiles, like dolphins, birds, baby rhinos, dogs, fish, and turtles.
This weekend they are getting fired. Next week we are going to glaze them.

Hi class,
I liked the artist too. We sure are lucky that she got to come to our school.

Some day when you graduate from PHS, or in college, maybe you will get a chance to come back to McKay and and see the tile on the wall that you made. That would be great.
Have a great day.
