Assessment Day

Friday we did a variety of quick assessments to see if we are improving.

Here CR is proud of his spelling test. I am proud of everyone because they worked hard and everyone passed their test. Let's see how many weeks we can keep this up.

We also took some reading test using the Expressions. They are the neatest tool. They allow us to text in our answers and then give us instant feedback.
We read a question on the board and then choose the correct answer, or text in our answers.

While others are testing, other students read on their own.

Later in the afternoon we received our first pen pal letters from Sherwood school.

It was so much fun to read them and learn about everyone. We started writing our letters right back. Check out their blog by clicking the link on the right side of this blog.
