Coloring Eggs & RIF

Today was RIF day. "Reading is Fundamental". This is when we each get to pick out a book and keep it. Thank you to SW's parents for being a part of this program. We love our books.
We read a story today in reading group where a man wrote a story and used his photographs to tell the story. So we decided to try it. Here TD is taking a picture that will be used in one of our books. Stay tuned for more to come.
The kids have talked me into having sharing and you can see how much they enjoy it.
GC brought in this critter and we all had fun learning all that it can do.
Then I shared one of my favorite spring stories this afternoon and drew the main character.
His name is Wilbur.
Isn't BC's cute?
JS's is precious too.
Then we colored eggs. See our post at www.schimelkids.blogspot.com to learn more.
BU was showing me his two toned egg.
KB spent time making her egg fancy. It had four colors on it.
